

Step 1:
If the person suddenly collapse check if the surroundings for any hazards. Check for a response from the victim and ask repeatedly “Are you ok?”. If the victim is unresponsive and not breathing or not breathing normally call emergency services immediately. Put the phone on speaker mode as emergency dispatcher can give instructions on how to perform CPR.




Step 2:
Kneel beside the victim and place 1 hand on the center of the victim's chest and place the second hand over the first hand and lacing the fingers tog
Step 3:
Position shoulders directly over the hands, while keeping arms straight and fingers off the chest.
Step 4:
Push hard and fast around 1.5 - 2 chest compressions per second or to the beat of the song stayin’ alive. The compressions should also be around 5cm - 6cm deep.
Step 5:
Continue chest compressions until:

The victim becomes conscious
-
The emergency responders arrive

A defibrillator is present and someone knows how to use it
-
Incoming hazards which can endanger the victim and oneself
